LAW 8
MAKE OTHER PEOPLE COME TO YOU—USE BAIT IF NECESSARY
When you force the other person to act, you are the one in control. It is always better to make your opponent come to you, abandoning his own plans in the process. Lure him with fabulous gains-then attack. You hold the cards.
This law emphasizes the importance of making others come to you, rather than constantly chasing after them. By doing so, you gain a position of power and control over the situation. You can use different tactics to make others come to you, such as creating an aura of mystery or scarcity around yourself, or offering something of value that others want or need.
At the same time, the law suggests that you may need to use bait or incentives to lure others towards you. This can be anything from a promise of wealth or fame, to the prospect of gaining valuable knowledge or connections. However, you should also be careful not to give away too much too soon, as this can weaken your position and diminish your power.
Overall, Law 8 encourages you to be strategic and calculated in your interactions with others, and to always look for ways to maintain a position of power and influence.
